We Held a Kids’ Activity Event Inspired by Hinamatsuri

On March 1, 2026, we held a children’s event titled “KIDS ACTIVITY Special Collaboration SUMIBI with Daifuku Jakarta” at SUMIBI Gandaria. The event offered hands-on experiences such as making daifuku, preparing sushi, and creating origami, all inspired by Japan’s Hinamatsuri (Girls’ Day).

On the day of the event, children from a variety of backgrounds participated, including Japanese, Indonesian, Western, and Indian families, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the venue.

We received many positive comments, including that it was a wonderful opportunity for cross-cultural experience and that families enjoyed tasting together the items their children had made themselves.

We will continue to provide opportunities for everyone to experience and enjoy Japanese culture in a fun and engaging way.
